Our good friend and Owen running mate, The Kid Daytona released the video for "Air Born," his collaboration with UGK legend, Bun B today. Directed by Derek Pike of Three21Media, and featuring EBC star Africa, the video has a melodic, silky-smooth vibe. Check it out. Community J.U.I.C.E.!
Wooleystock 2009 was a music festival at the Wooley Street Gallery in Atlanta. It was based around music, love, peace and free beer.
Carnivores and Living Rooms performed until 2 am, illuminated by a projector playing "Bum Fights 2" on repeat. Admission and booze were free and the crowd was treated to an evening to remember (if possible). Not even a scuffle on an empty Peters St or a few local crackheads could dampen the mood for the crowd which dispersed shortly before 3.
Great song great video. NYC's own Holy Ghost. Great cameo by Jonny Famous at 1:55 in. Thanks to HeavyRoc for the heads up. Also check the New Order - Confusion video. Shot for shot recreation. Making pizza and making music!!!

My friend and I were having a conversation that begin with, If you're wearing a band's tee shirt, you better be able to name some songs. For me, Joy Division's Unknown Pleasures shirt takes the cake, worn by pseudo hipsters who never heard of the band until the film Control came out and subsequently "Love Will Tear Us Apart" became the anthem for a generation who for the most part doesn't know the first thing from postpunk.
Here's a funny and good throwback. Weird that this was one of Bad Boy Records hottest selling records. The album went platinum within a month and a half of it's release. Peep out their funny steez!
Email interviews are what's good these days. B-Roc of The Knocks sent me some telling answers to a few questions I posed about his label and band. Heavy Roc Music is a force to be reckoned with, so check out the new website premiering today! - Jon

The Cold War Kids have an ill page on MTV.com, featuring the I've Seen Enough interactive experience. You can click on a band member to mute him and do the same on a color bar above the video to change the track.
