Twitter on Paper Delivered

My Twitter on Paper arrived. To my dismay, the philanthropic twerp (?) ran out of new tweet ideas and sent me an old one. I got this kind note from management though.

Smashing Magazine posted an article the other day about “50 Beautiful Flash Websites.” Most are gimmicky and take too long to load, but there are a select few slick ones. 

Twitter on Paper

Sam Potts, graphic designer, is pioneering "a new old-fashioned" form of (sigh) tweeting. He sends longhand versions of his own posts from Twitter upon request, written on 4X6 cards or scrap paper. To avoid infringement he only recreates his own posts, but he will send Twitter on Paper to you for free via mail-mail or email.

JJJound

Max and a few other friends recommended I check out the visual blog JJJJound. The LOLA Walt Whitman shirt had just been featured on the site, so I checked it out and find myself looking at it every week. Most people I know, myself included, who spend a lot of time on the computer, have some sort of running inspiration folder, or more recently an Image Spark account. JJJJound is a study in editing. I especially admire the way that colors subtly change between products, photographs, and people.

Harley and Cassie dot blogspot

This picture of the toast resembling the Virgin Mary was put up on the Harley and Cassie blog, denoting the price it was sold for... $28,000.  Apparently people are making trips to go see it in person, excusing it as a spiritual journey.

Rhett Dashwood's Google Maps alphabet
