Ginger World Premiere
GINGERA short film by Gabriel Pryce. Starring Camilla Deterre, Leo Fitzpatrick, John Little, and Kris Andrews.
Featuring artists Bob Colacello, Daniel Fuller, Lisa de Kooning, Matisse
Patterson, John Ross Rist, and William Wood, the Generations Collide
exhibition will traverse the generations through the mediums of
painting, sculpture, and photography.
Some of the artists
that have the largest impact on me grew up in a time much before my own,
while others are artists that have barely reached their twenties. The
different waves of creativity fascinate me as I look at how each new
technique or series holds its own in an ever-evolving art world. This
exhibition examines the parallel existence of a distinct group of
artists from different eras and sees how their work varies and how one
generation relates to or influences the next.
Generations
Collide will open with a reception for the artists on May 20th, 2010, at
the Murphy and Dine Gallery, located at 520 West 27th Street, NYC, from
6 pm to 10 pm. Refreshments will be served and all guests are invited
to join us for the after party on the 5th floor terrace of the gallery.
There will be a guest list, so please be sure to rsvp.
Best
regards,
Trip

Them Thangs: Back In Action
A few months ago, Emmett posted an article about Them Thangs, and a little while later, after gaining too much attention, the image-heavy inspiration-laden site went down due to hosting issues. However, Them Thangs is back online and better than ever, featuring a new layout with tons of "newer shit" and "older shit". The phoenix has risen. Check it out.
