Beck Concert in a Palace in Harlem
Last night the Sollis brothers, myself and Vanessa went up to 175th street to the opulent United Palace theatre. MGMT performed too but we were too busy being lost in Washington Heights. We met up with Alexandra, and ended up sitting right up front, which is funny because we found out midway through the show our tickets were for the night before’s show…
I am not the most informed Beck fan, but the show was somber, personal, and creative. Regardless of the music, being around a few thousand people in literally a Palace is fun. Here are some photos:

My Friend Andrew W.K

Recently I have become friends with the one and only Andrew W.K. We hit it off instantly and now are planning some fun things together. We have a mixtape due out September 15th that will feature all original music from Andrew, Myself, his artist Bad Brilliance, The Knocks, Samuel, Julia and The Americans. Look out because it is going to be huge. There will be an equally as huge release party on September 15th at Andrew’s new club Santos Party House. The release party will feature Andrew’s first performance ever at Santos along with performances by Bad Brilliance & SAMUEL!!!!
this is just a sneak peek, more coming soon! For now check out some of these Andrew W.K goodies:

The Dropkick Murphy’s

on saturday owen and i decided to be the only black people at a dropkick murphy’s concert.

it was somewhere between a soccer riot, st. patty’s day, a house of pain concert and gangs of new york.

as boston centric as the show was, we still found some hilarious allies in our crusade against the dark side.

the mosh pit made me feel like i had front row seats to the pistons/pacers brawl. well if ron artest was a boston redneck.

um, ok….
