Last night the Sollis brothers, myself and Vanessa went up to 175th street to the opulent United Palace theatre. MGMT performed too but we were too busy being lost in Washington Heights. We met up with Alexandra, and ended up sitting right up front, which is funny because we found out midway through the show our tickets were for the night before’s show…
I am not the most informed Beck fan, but the show was somber, personal, and creative. Regardless of the music, being around a few thousand people in literally a Palace is fun. Here are some photos:

Last night we attended “Counting In Fives” a documentary about London’s very own uber-hip neo-hair band; The Horrors. We stayed after for the Nylon Magazine party. Brooklyn DJ duo “We Love You” did a great electro funk disco pop set. Down the street DJ Vibe spun at Stereo with DJ AM and Steve Aoki. Thanks to Danni, Heather, Luke and everyone from Nylon Mag who treated us to copious amounts of 3.2 alcohol level beer and mini chicken pomegranate pot pies .
