The Art Rocks event last week at The Bowery Hotel was a smashing success by all accounts. An eclectic crowd from downtown, uptown, and out of town, took in a great showing of emerging artists. Many of the pieces sold, from young artists to young collectors. The event raised not only awareness for the artists, but over $150,000 through ticket sales, sponsorship, and art sold to the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center at Columbia. Last night was incredible beyond all accounts, with over $150,000 raised for the NBDC, the largest crowd the Bowery Hotel has ever seen for an event, it was a smashing success. The artwork was great, the crowd was great, the night are great.
