Check out the website for the new book "The Summertime Sound" by Matthew Specktor, which was released yesterday. I read an excerpt of the new novel online and decided to check out the site. Most websites designed exclusively for marketing a book are lacking. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the packaging of "The Summertime Sound"  website. 

One can't help but love the full-bleed 1980s (the time period the book is written in) imagery, and if you peep the audio section you'll notice excerpts read by many notable people - Jeremy Irons, James Franco, Gweneth Paltrow, J. Masics and Morgan Freeman. The website did an excellent job of making me want to learn more about the book. Check it out, intriguing stuff.
