Knicks and Hawks give me high fives

Last night, Low, Ebone and myself attended the Knicks/Hawks game in Atlanta. I renounced my Knicks fanship a few years ago when they submarined the Jet's Westside stadium (amongst other things), but I figured it I would break out my Knicks 1999 game 4 of the finals tee shirt (thank you Emmett), a brown paper bag with eye holes and head on down.

We picked up some pbr's, hennessey and ribs (shout out to House of Ribs on Bouldercrest) and headed down to the game. After a tailgaiting session we entered the game at the beginning of the 2nd quarter. Shortly after we got there, volatile Hawks wingman Josh Smith was ejected, which was funny. Other highlights of the game were: Floyd Mayweather sitting courtside and a race sponsored by TGI Fridays between a steak, baby back ribs and a chicken wrap.

The babyback ribs won, as did the Knicks, which made the whole "brown paper bag on the head" very thing confusing for the few fans at the game (recession + ambivalent fan base = a crowd about as dense as the hair on Nic Cages's head).
