The climbing wall is fairly safe, when there is no supervisor around the high part is closed off with a fence, you can only climb the low part then.

Yes this is indeed as safe as you want it to be. Checking your rope, making sure your belay buddy knows what he's doing, and never being alone. If you try to free solo this highball you have a death wish anyway, get a gun and press it in your temple instead it has less chance to just break your legs and leave you in pain.
Only problem I see is it happens to be set in concrete. Difficult to see in the pics but I doubt they will be adding or changing anything about that wall unless they are knocking the building down. Looks like fun stuff for the afternoon anyway!

The high section is blocked by a locked fence with 10-inch spikes on top. Also, when the gate is closed it's very close to the wall so if you fall of with the gate closed you'd land on the spikes. Nobody is that stupid.

im from the states and this would be so so cool to have around for people to climb the world around them get a good idea of what is what and so forth so they might breech every day bounds. so cool wish i could be there..

technically i should be offended by the slams against the US, but they're all true!! And it would be cool to have that to get up to your dorm room, but think how easy that would make it for bad people to get to your room....otherwise, very cool!!

No there are definitely panels so you can change holds. The US has a big climbing community, and we're not generally stupid or reckless--that's a stereotype. The nederlands has comparable climate conditions to the U.S.
