Smashing Magazine posted an article the other day about “50 Beautiful Flash Websites.” Most are gimmicky and take too long to load, but there are a select few slick ones. 

The Sensisoft design agency’s site properly balances high quality motion graphics with accessibility, delivering information while telling a story. The main character is an interactive kiosk that travels through time and space on the click of a button. Beginning at “About Us” in London 1880, the kiosk warps to Moscow 1920, Chicago 1940, Paris 1970, Barcelona 2008, and finally “Contact Us” in Tokyo 2030. The image rotates in a space-bending vortex, teleporting to each new destination.
